HeartCode® is the blended learning model approved by the American Heart Association (AHA), allowing students to complete most of the course online, then finish with a short, in-person skills session.

At Community First Responder LLC, we offer hands-on skills checks for:

  • HeartCode BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • HeartCode ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • HeartCode PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

  • These sessions are fast, flexible, and available 7 days a week at our training center in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.

How It Works

1. Complete the Online Course

  • Purchase and complete your AHA HeartCode course on your own time
  • Includes interactive simulations, video modules, and final exams

2. Schedule Your Skills Session

  • Attend a hands-on session at our training center
  • Practice, test, and receive your AHA eCard the same day

About HeartCode BLS

HeartCode BLS is ideal for healthcare providers who want to renew or complete their BLS certification using a self-paced, online course. It includes:

  • eLearning modules with real-world scenarios
  • CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • AED usage, choking relief, and team dynamics
  • Final exam online before attending in-person session

HeartCode ACLS allows experienced providers to complete ACLS certification in a blended format. The course includes:

  • Pre-course self-assessment
  • 10 in-hospital simulated cases
  • BLS case and 2 megacode scenarios
  • Team dynamics module
  • Final exam (84% passing score)
