What You’ll Learn in Pet CPR & First Aid

Our course combines hands-on skills practice with vital emergency knowledge so you can respond effectively to common pet emergencies.

Training includes:

  • Vital Signs Check – learn to monitor pulse, breathing, and temperature
  • Recognizing Emergencies – signs of shock, seizures, poisoning, choking, and respiratory distress
  • Wound & Bleeding Care – control bleeding, bandaging techniques, and infection prevention
  • Choking & Breathing Problems – clearing airways and supporting breathing
  • Pet CPR Techniques – chest compressions and rescue breathing for dogs and cats
  • Handling Medical Issues – allergic reactions, heatstroke, hypothermia, and injuries
  • Transporting an Injured Pet – safe movement and stabilization until veterinary care is available

By the end of the course, participants will know how to respond confidently and provide life-saving care for dogs and cats.
